ASOTA Admissions
At ASOTA, students receive professional-level training while growing academically, artistically, and spiritually. Whether you are pursuing an undergraduate degree, advancing your education through graduate studies, or preparing for a career in the arts and entertainment industry, our faculty are committed to helping you develop your talents and discover your calling.
To be considered for admission, students must apply to the University of Mobile and complete the Alabama School of the Arts Application. Audition and interview requirements vary by program and are outlined below.
Undergraduate Admissions
The Alabama School of the Arts offers a wide range of undergraduate degree programs in music, theatre, worship leadership, and production technologies. Through personalized instruction, hands-on experiences, and performance opportunities, students are equipped to excel professionally while using their gifts to impact the world for Christ.
Graduate Admissions
Whether you are seeking to advance your professional skills, deepen your artistic expertise, or prepare for new opportunities in leadership in higher education, ASOTA’s graduate programs provide a supportive environment for continued growth. Graduate students study with experienced faculty while pursuing advanced training that aligns with their career goals and calling.
Scholarships & Financial Aid
As the #1 College of Music in Alabama (Niche Rankings 2026), the Alabama School of the Arts is committed to making a Christ-centered arts education accessible and affordable. ASOTA offers a variety of funding opportunities to help students finance their education.
All undergraduate students accepted into the Alabama School of the Arts are considered for talent-based scholarships, with awards of up to $25,000 annually. Scholarship consideration is based on admission to the University of Mobile, acceptance into ASOTA, and the student’s audition or interview.
Additional academic scholarships, grants, and financial aid opportunities may also be available through the University of Mobile.
