Below is a simple overview of our process:
Step 1: Apply to the University of Mobile.
All students begin by completing the UM admissions application at https://umobile.edu/apply
Step 2: Audition:
The audition process includes submitting your audition application and completing your audition by scheduling a private audition day that works best for you. You may register using the link below: ASOTA Audition Application
Step 3: Receive Admissions & Scholarship Decisions
All students accepted into the Alabama School of the Arts are automatically considered for scholarships—awarded up to $25,000 annually—based on their admittance to the University of Mobile, acceptance into ASOTA, and audition or interview. Admission and scholarship decisions are communicated after your university application has been reviewed and your audition is complete.

Visiting Campus is a wonderful opportunity to tour campus, meet faculty and students, experience chapel, and get a true feel for life at the University of Mobile and ASOTA.
