I’ve loved sports all my life, so when I prayed over it and felt God call me into Sports Administration, I knew it was where I needed to be. Going into my senior year in high school, I had different people pulling me in different directions. I had a few schools lined up to visit, and before I started those visits, I just asked God to give me a sign when I was at the campus He wanted me to be at. University of Mobile was my first visit, and instantly I could feel God telling me this is where I needed to be. Here at UM, I’m not just a number. The community makes me feel accepted and it makes me want to be involved more. Also, with UM being a smaller campus, I can get the care and attention I need in class and my teachers are able to make the classes more personal. Through my degree field at UM, I am already getting prospects for careers and internships even though I am a freshman. I love how they are so focused on our future that I don’t have to worry what will happen when I graduate.
