MOBILE, Ala. – University of Mobile alumna Dr. Kendra Strenth returns to her alma mater as assistant professor of nursing in the School of Nursing, College of Health Professions.
Strenth has held board certification from the American Credentialing Center in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing since 1989. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing through University of Mobile’s chapter, Omicron Theta, and Samford University’s chapter, Gamma Eta.
Previously, she served over 27 years as a nursing instructor at Bishop State Community College. She also served in the clinical setting at Providence Hospital Center for Life Decisions/Psychiatric Mental Health Unit.
“I look forward to utilizing the new facilities in the Center for Excellence in Healthcare Practice to enhance the teaching environment, and sharing my love of nursing and the love of Christ with students,” Strenth said.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama, a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Mobile, and the Doctor of Nursing Practice in nursing administration and education from Samford University.
