MOBILE, Ala. – The University of Mobile inducted 21 of its top students into the university’s chapter of Alpha Chi National College Honor Society on Oct. 2. Alpha Chi is a co-ed academic honor society that recognizes juniors, seniors and graduate students in the top 10% of their class. The society recognizes students in all fields of study, inducting 11,000 students every year.
Cassidy Cooper, Ph.D., is faculty sponsor for the UM chapter and serves as associate professor of sociology and Title IX coordinator.
