University of Mobile Named #12 Best Affordable Online Bachelor’s Psychology Degree in Nation for Private Colleges

MOBILE, Ala. – University of Mobile’s online Bachelor of Science in Psychology has been named #12 in the nation among private colleges for quality and affordability by Best Degree Programs, an online college resource guide.

The listing for “30 Best Affordable Online Bachelor’s in Psychology Degrees from Private Colleges 2017-2018” is at BestDegreePrograms.org.

UM’s online psychology degree is offered through the Christian university’s Alabama College for Online Studies at umobile.edu/online. It is one of many courses of study in the UM College of Arts and Sciences.

The ranking was created by consulting the NCES College Navigator database to identify private non-profit colleges and universities offering online Bachelor’s in Psychology degree programs. The top schools were selected from those with rankings or recognition by major publications such as U.S. News & World Report, according to Jamie Agamalian, manager for online communications at BestDegreePrograms.org.

U.S. News & World Report’s 2018 college rankings named UM #1 for veterans and #5 overall among regional colleges in the South. The university was also named a “Best Value” school based on academic quality and value.

“Using our practiced and time-proven expertise, Best Degree Program’s mission is to share quality information to help students find the right type of degree program and college or university to fit their career interests,” Agamalian said.

The Alabama College for Online Studies at University of Mobile offers degree options that are affordable, with flexible class schedules designed specifically for working adults. Areas of study including nursing, education, ministry and psychology.
