MOBILE, Ala. – The Alabama School of the Arts at the University of Mobile presents “Christmas on the Keys,” performed by the talented piano ensemble Elite 88. This Christmas concert will take place at 7 p.m. on Dec. 5 in Moorer Auditorium on the UM campus, 5735 College Parkway, Mobile, Alabama.
Admission is free, but registration is suggested at itickets.com.
This production will entertain the audience with the wonderful sounds of the holidays performed by students from the Alabama School of the Arts under the direction of Gregg Wiggins, assistant professor of music.
The evening will feature favorite songs from Christmas movies like “Home Alone,” “The Polar Express” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” Elite 88 will also perform traditional Christmas tunes.
Thirteen pianists will be performing these pieces in duets, trios, quartets and sextets.
“Christmas on the Keys” is part of the Roger Breland Center for Performing Arts Series that includes concerts, theatrical and inspirational events. The full schedule of events for the 2019-2010 season is at umobile.edu/pas.
