University of Mobile Ranked one of “America’s Best Christian Colleges” for 2020

MOBILE, Ala.–University of Mobile has been selected, for the 23rdconsecutive year, as one of “America’s Best Christian Colleges” by Institutional Research & Evaluation Inc.

The “2020 America’s Best Christian Colleges” list was chosen from among 1,431 colleges and universities in the United States included in the 29th Annual National College Survey. The annual survey was conducted April 1 through July 31, 2019 by the higher education consulting firm.

The institutions chosen for America’s Best Christian Colleges must be accredited, four-year institutions offering bachelor degrees and full residential facilities, including residence halls and dining services. Schools must also have an entering freshman class in the fall of 2018 with a high school grade point average, SAT, or ACT score equal to or above the national average for entering college freshmen.

University of Mobile has also been recognized as the #1 Best Small College in Alabama with the #1 Best College Dorms in the state. Other honors include the #11 Best Regional College in the South, the #4 Best Regional Colleges in the South for Veterans, #22 Best College Campuses in America, and #28 Best College dorms in America. Niche has also named the University of Mobile #1 Best College in the Mobile Area, #3 Best College Food in Alabama, and #4 Safest College Campus in Alabama.
