Maintaining the qualities that define University of Mobile, and keeping it strong for the future, require substantial resources.
These qualities distinguish University of Mobile as a Christ-centered academic community providing comprehensive liberal arts and professional programs to distinctively transform the world.
They include a small student to faculty ratio in which all professors teach undergraduates; faculty and staff that are dedicated to developing students who have a heart for God and a passion for service to their community; and an exceptionally talented, diverse, and dedicated student body who seek to make a positive impact on the world.
Endowed gifts allow all of these elements to thrive. They can be unrestricted or designated by the donor for use in support of specific scholarships, programs, initiatives, or building/renovation projects. The Office for Advancement works with alumni, parents, and friends of University of Mobile to match their interests with the needs of the University.
These gifts to the University endowment are invested, and their earnings provide a permanent source of income for the University. Endowment funds are vital to ensuring that the University will continue to fulfill its mission for generations to come.
