Submitting a Maintenance Request is a quick and convenient way to ensure campus facilities remain safe, functional, and welcoming. With just a few simple steps, you can report issues such as repairs, cleaning needs, or general upkeep across campus buildings and grounds.

Streamlining Maintenance Requests at The University of Mobile

Once submitted, your request is directed to the Facilities team, who will work to resolve the issue promptly. By using the Maintenance Request system, you’re helping keep the University of Mobile a comfortable and well-cared-for environment for everyone.

Steps to submit work orders for UM Facilities team (FOR UM FACULTY/STAFF USE ONLY):

1. Click on the Link below to take you to the UM Maintenance Request form

2. Fill in your Name, Email, and Phone Number

3. Choose a Service Category (Type of Work Needed) and priority:
Examples of Priorities:

  • Urgent Priority: A/C or Heat not working; Anything leaking water; Power outage to a room
  • High Priority: A/C or Heat working but not properly; Drains or toilet clogs; Outlets or lights out; Trash in a high traffic area;  Broken doors/knobs for privacy or security issues; Event related repairs
  • Medium Priority: Trash pick-up; Deep clean of floors before or after an event; Sheetrock repairs and paint; Broken doorknobs, blinds etc.
  • Low Priority: Moving furniture;  Any repairs or actions that do not require immediate attention

4. Add a Description with a Specific location (Attach any pictures or documents if needed.)
