UM’s transfer policies maximize coursework completed at other schools. Students who transfer to the University of Mobile from a community college or another four-year university have the advantage of a personal admissions counselor to advise and assist you each step of the way, from application to enrollment.
Fill out and submit an Application to the University of Mobile Enrollment Services Office.
Request an official copy of all previous college transcripts to be sent to the University of Mobile. Students transferring with less than 15 acceptable hours of transfer credit should submit ACT/SAT scores and a high school transcript.
Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid online at FAFSA. The University of Mobile FAFSA code is 001029. All students who apply for scholarships or financial aid are encouraged to complete this form. Students who complete the application process are considered for all types of assistance.

All students at the University of Mobile have the same tuition rate. There is not a higher rate of tuition if you live outside of Alabama.
Parking is not a problem for University of Mobile students! Students living on campus park near their residence halls and walk to class, while commuters park in the many parking lots adjacent to buildings where classes are located. To register your vehicle on campus, please visit MyUM and go to the Campus Center tab.

Yes, our partnerships with local community colleges are very important. We aim to provide the best possible experience to transfer students. Our articulation agreements with Bishop State Community College and Coastal Alabama Community College are currently being updated and will be published as soon as possible
