ELEMENTARY EDUCATION
Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education
A Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education gives you the knowledge, understanding and necessary skills for teaching kindergarten through sixth grade. Teaching skills are refined through in-class modeling and field experiences that help you practice methodology and reflective decision making. Our program not only consists of formal training in education methods, theory and pedagogy, but also assists students in understanding that theory and practical application complement one another. Graduates are considered Highly Qualified (HQ) by the Alabama State Department of Education.
