ASSOCIATE DEGREE IN NURSING
The Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) at the University of Mobile is a five-semester program that prepares you to enter the workforce quickly. It can be a first step for students who want to begin their career in health care, then continue their education toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree while working in the field.

This program offers you a fast track into the world of nursing. The program duration is 5 consecutive semesters including a summer term. The ADN program begins each fall semester with classes starting in August. Courses and clinical sessions are delivered on campus and at local clinical sites by professors who understand the challenges and rewards of nursing in the health care environment.
Students will gain hands-on experience in UM’s Center for Excellence in Healthcare Practice. The Center features skills labs and high-fidelity patient simulators to mirror scenarios you will experience in your professional nursing career. The School of Nursing has agreements with more than 20 health care facilities that offer you the clinical experiences you need to prepare for a career.
