The University of Mobile School of Nursing invites former students to apply for reinstatement and complete requirements to receive their degree. The following documents are required for consideration for reinstatement.

Please submit required documents to randerson@umobile.edu.

• Reinstatement Fee of $100. PAYABLE TO: The University of Mobile Undergraduate Nursing Department.
• A letter acknowledging the reasons for dismissal that shows the student takes responsibility and describes the steps taken to improve. The letter should also include a plan for future success.
• Dismissal must have been at least five years or more and cannot have been for ethical or moral reasons.
• Criminal background check
• Payment of the criminal background check fee
• Drug screen
• Current official transcript (if not on file)
• A reference letter to support your return to the nursing program
• Students must repeat all nursing courses
• Students must meet all current University of Mobile and School of Nursing admission requirements.
• The final decision will be determined after the application, reason for dismissal letter, and a face-to-face interview have been completed.
