Position Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates the Imago Dei of Christ (Gen 1:26) in all aspects of one’s professional role, personal interactions and community relations.
- Teaches the normal teaching load at the University, twelve semester hours per academic period.
- Sets and keeps a minimum of 10 office hours a week and more during advisement/registration periods
- Keep abreast of all advisement information and be available to advise students as assigned
- Able to teach early morning and/or night classes
- Willing to teach summer classes
- Willing to teach both face to face and online courses
- Willing to visit and evaluate clinical/internship sites
- Report for duty after summer vacation in time for faculty workshop
- Remain on duty after any University session until all records are complete and submitted to the proper offices
- Attend all assigned committee meetings
- Submit attendance records and grades as required by the Registrar
- Attend all department and college or school meetings unless absence is approved by the respective dean
- Present all recommendations involving teaching assignments to the dean
- Submit syllabi to the dean of the respective college or school for all courses taught
- Submit textbook orders
- Recommend library acquisitions through the dean
- Participate in recruitment of students
- Assist in the registration and orientation of students during Fall, Spring, and Summer terms, and at early registration
- Participate in commencement exercises in proper academic regalia
- Promote area clubs, organizations, societies, and activities
- Support student organizations and activities
- Attend and support University functions and
- other responsibilities as defined by the Dean and/or Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Required Qualifications
- Preferred: Earned Doctorate (PhD, EdD) in kinesiology or related field
- Required: Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in kinesiology, exercise science, or related field
- Rank and salary are commensurate with education and experience
