UM’s transfer policies maximize coursework completed at other schools. Students who transfer to the University of Mobile from a community college or another four-year university have the advantage of a personal admissions counselor to advise and assist you each step of the way, from application to enrollment.

Transfer Student Admission Checklist

Step 1: Apply
Fill out and submit an Application to the University of Mobile Enrollment Services Office.

Step 2: Transcripts
Request an official copy of all previous college transcripts to be sent to the University of Mobile. Students transferring with less than 15 acceptable hours of transfer credit should submit ACT/SAT scores and a high school transcript. 

Step 3: Financial Aid
Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid online at www.fafsa.edu.gov. The University of Mobile FAFSA code is 001029. All students who apply for scholarships or financial aid are encouraged to complete this form. Students who complete the application process are considered for all types of assistance.

Step 4: Visit
Schedule an appointment through your personal enrollment counselor to discuss your individualized financial aid package. Call 800.WIN.RAMS or 251.442.2222.

Step 5: Register
Contact your enrollment counselor to schedule a time to register.
