The Alternative Master of Arts in Education at the University of Mobile is designed for persons looking to change careers and enter the field of education as an early childhood or elementary education teacher. This program is blended (on-campus and online) and allows you to begin classes anytime (Fall, Spring, or Summer semesters).

Alternative Master of Arts in Education

The alternative education program was created for persons who have completed baccalaureate degrees in non-teacher certification programs from accredited colleges or universities. Options are:

  • Early Childhood Education
  • Elementary Education

Some characteristics of effective professionals in the field of early childhood and elementary education include communication skills, empathy, resourcefulness, patience and organizational skills.
