It’s the artist behind the camera, the console, and the switcher that bring an event to life. Graduates from this program will be armed with the understanding and skills to combine the elements of audio, video and lighting into live and recorded events to inspire awe and impact audiences, whether in worship or commercial settings.

Step 1: Apply to UM

The University of Mobile and the Alabama School of the Arts require all students to submit an admission application before auditioning.

Step 2: Audition

Fill out the interest form today to begin and schedule your audition. Auditions may be scheduled weekly (Monday-Thursday) for the student upon approval from the ASOTA office.

Jeremy Harford, a seasoned audio engineer with over 20 years of experience, serves as Executive Director of Campus Events and Director of the Production Technologies degree at the University of Mobile. Known for his expertise in live sound and AVL systems, Jeremy tours full-time as Front of House Engineer and Road Manager for Veritas while passionately mentoring the next generation of production professionals.
