Ram Ready

“Ram Ready” is the comprehensive new student orientation program at the University of Mobile, designed to provide incoming students with the essential tools, resources, and support they need to thrive academically, socially, and personally. Through engaging workshops, interactive sessions, and introductions to faculty, staff, and fellow students, Ram Ready ensures that newcomers are equipped with vital information about campus life, academic expectations, and available support services. From navigating campus facilities to understanding academic requirements and fostering a sense of community, Ram Ready sets the stage for a successful and fulfilling college experience at the University of Mobile.

Ram Rush

Ram Rush is the official University of Mobile New Student Orientation. It is organized by the University of Mobile’s Student Life Department and is full of concerts, free food, give-aways, games, new friends, orientation information, and tons of fun!

UM 101

UM 101 is a course for all new undergraduate University of Mobile students that focuses on exploring majors and developing career readiness.

Mentorships & Advising

At the University of Mobile, every student is guided by faculty mentors who are deeply invested in their academic, personal, and spiritual growth. Our one-on-one advising approach ensures students receive personalized support to navigate their college journey with confidence. Through intentional relationships and Christ-centered encouragement, we help students discover their calling and prepare for a life of purpose.

Student Groups

We believe that being involved in a student group is a crucial part of your college experience. That’s why we offer a wide range of student groups to cater to the diverse interests of our student body. Our student groups cover a wide range of interests including academic, social, athletic, service-oriented, and religious groups. Whatever your passion may be, we have a student group for you! Being part of a student group is a great way to meet new people, develop leadership skills, and engage in activities outside the classroom.

Faith & Service

As a Christ-centered, academically-focused university, we are preparing students to fulfill the Great Commission through a Biblical worldview. Through involvement in the local church, students experience the fullness of community and opportunities for life-changing service.

We encourage our students to attend and serve in our local churches through intentional events like Equipped Seminars and For the Church. We also provide monthly worship experiences and on-campus discipleship that connects your heart, soul, and mind to Christ.
