The Marketing and Public Relations Department promotes the mission and identity of the University of Mobile through strategic initiatives designed to enhance the image, recruitment and development efforts of the university. Accomplishments include, but are not limited to:
- Increased regional and national advertising efforts
- Established and continued vibrant presence of social media sites
- Created and executed nationally recognized Project Serve event
- Implemented new technology for enhanced communication
- Increased local, regional and national media coverage
- Created the University of Mobile Magazine
- Increased monthly unique visitors to university website by over 1600%
- Redesigned University of Mobile website
- Developed, produced and maintained digital content site – The Torch
