THE 1961 FUND

Since 1961, the University of Mobile has existed to train and equip God-called men and women to serve the Lord Jesus Christ in whatever vocation He has given them. No matter if our students study mathematics or ministry, accounting or engineering, education or evangelism, every vocation is a calling from the Lord. Through the 1961 Fund, our alumni, donors, and friends can partner with us in training our students to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ wherever they go.
The 1961 Fund was established to directly support the mission of the University of Mobile—providing a Christ-centered education for every student. Therefore, every dollar given to the 1961 Fund is a dollar we do not have to charge students in tuition and is used to enhance their student experience through scholarships, academics and spiritual development. Giving to the 1961 Fund not only supports our university, but most importantly supports our students. Every student matters, therefore every gift matters!
