Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Certificate Program Coordinator

The University of Mobile is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as Program Coordinator and Faculty in its new Post-Master’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Certificate Program. This individual will oversee the didactic education of students and coordinate with clinical sites to ensure clinical experiences align with standards set forth by the accrediting bodies and certifying entities. Additional responsibilities will include curriculum development and review, course development and evaluation, and advising.

The candidate must hold an unencumbered license as a registered nurse certified registered nurse practitioner. Additionally, the candidate must hold national certifications as both a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner AND family nurse practitioner. The candidate must have recent clinical practice experience in a psychiatric nurse practitioner position. This position is for the rank of assistant professor or higher, the candidate must hold a doctoral degree, and teaching experience is required. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with educational preparation and experience. This position may be on-campus or remote, and the details of required time on campus will be discussed during the interview process. The position will be a full-time, 12-month appointment.
