UNIVERSITY of MOBILE
AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:43-45
About the Ambassador Program
Since 1984, the UM Ambassador Program has focused on enhancing the visibility of the University of Mobile and providing students with an opportunity to interact professionally with the public and peers and to serve the university and local community.
Our ambassadors consist of a group of students who demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills, enthusiasm for the university, proven leadership abilities, positivity, sound judgment, and reliability.
The program includes a rigorous application and interview process. Students who achieve this honor undergo comprehensive leadership and etiquette training to prepare them to assist with university events as official hosts, both on and off campus; as well as to be leaders within the local community.
Ambassadors serve the University and community through intentional Biblical leadership according to Mark 10:43-45, "Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
