The University of Mobile has created the Campus Wellness Center to provide students and employees with basic quality medical services, health education and preventive care.

The University of Mobile Campus Wellness Center provides a registered nurse to assist students and employees with basic health services and healthcare needs.

• Health promotion and well-being services such as blood pressure checks, temperature checks, provision of basic over-the-counter medications

•Basic treatment of minor illnesses or injuries

• Referrals and assistance making appointments with a local physician, nurse practitioner or other healthcare providers for additional treatments and care 

These services are provided by an RN and are free to all University of Mobile students and employees (pursuant to the Alabama Board of Nursing: Nursing Practice Act 610-X-6-.03).

UM PERSONAL COUNSELING

The mission of UM counseling services is to assist currently enrolled students in obtaining counseling appropriate to their needs, provide consultation and crisis intervention services to students and others concerned with students’ emotional well-being, and teach healthy coping skills to students through outreach efforts.
